Wow, you kicked over the honey jar.
Rarely do readers enjoy a writer who after having posited an opinion takes the time to address each contrary or derogatory opinion with dignity and understanding. Bravo.
And yet a sadness screams to the fore, that being the clarity of such an opinion as yours is not visited by the licentious minds that operate in the political spectrum of both factions and their allies.
Until the parties on both sides, who retain their positions by manipulation, intimidation and connivance of their fellow man, reach a level of maturity and altruism there will not be peace.
Too often, violence and war is conducted by the whims of the few against the many. Among both troubled societies the validity and desirability of both Netanyahu's and Hamas' political platforms are tenuous at best.
Though the conscience of the many is slow to coalesce, hopefully when it does so the avarice and evil of the few will be extinguished by the humanity of the many.
It surprises me your article has so few claps yet so many comments. Perhaps there is something in that demographic. As a writer, well done Steve.
