Who Am I? Who Do I Want to Be?

A swirl engulfed me and paralyzed my soul

Stood on the corner my soul ached
unsure where to turn, tossed, tumbled, timid
I wondered if life had been faked.

Others stood high on podiums of intent
Their sail of confidence billows
thrusting, singular, without relent.
