Torn by this. As a lover of the portrayal of the human figure both male and female in art, sculpture, and verse, I believe it a sadness that those elements should be limited from observation and appreciation. Yet I have a greater appreciation of the fact we gift wrap our presents. Gifts are concealed for the pleasure of the recipient. So to can be the human form.

Beauty is for the loved and intended few,

Beauty is not for the lust gorged market of hyenas to chew.

Pleasure lies in the giving of the unknown, the unfathomable, the secreted, not in a paraded market of bangles.

Who holds responsibility for the state of concealment? Do we return to bustles, corsets and codpieces?

Everyone should take pride in their protrayal of who they are and not bow to the imposition of societal voyeurs and dictates.

Lyrically written piece, thank you.
