The Trump Bull Charges in the Ring.
A sonnet of thoughts on seeing more of the President’s tact and decorum.
Tormented and bellicose, the bull rages fierce,
It would gouge and plunder, other souls to pierce.
With set jaw, and lips welded in a snake-like purse,
The demagogue’s will lies twisted, truth he does reverse.
Raging and belligerent, he takes joy in those he berates.
To deride and belittle, in flames his ego against those he subjugates.
Bereft of compassion, his arrogance inflates his limitless guile,
Turning to falsehood and accusation his protests are most vile.
Without logic or fact, he barks and rails on thin pretense,
For truth is squandered as his poison flows free and intense.
By barking loudest, cruelest, he thinks he grows strong,
Yet wisdom sees his ignorance and humanity sees his wrong.
A fool brings slander and abuse with which to fight
A wise man brings understanding to lead from darkness to light.
Ten Second Takeaway:
