How long will the vitriolic misdirected anger point at the wrong source?

Across Medium a plethora of journalistic minds spew a foul river of hate towards Vladimir Putin and the evil he has unleashed on the Ukraine. Some of it is warranted, but is it all? This poison is not dissimilar to the hate hurled at any enemy who should happen to stand up for its own rights and inflict what it perceives as rightful retribution.

The way he has invaded the Ukraine is obscene, yes, however spare the dictator a modicum of understanding, for no peace can ever be achieved unless both sides are heard at the table and an early peace is what all sides must pursue as the world teeters to the brink of self-inflicted annihilation.

Every voice should challenge the hedgemony of the spoiled brat that stands atop the castle. However, it is vital to identify the correct brat among the many who aspire to the position. The powers that hold the biggest stick refuse to tolerate any independence or self-determined preservation by any of the underlings. The lesser entities must kowtow in subservience to the all heralding state.

Whether that state be Roman, ancient China, France, Portugal, Britain, Spain, or especially now, the United States, the demand for subservience clamors loud across the media.
