A shocking testament to the injustice of it all is that the most decorated battalion in American military history, with Purple Hearts, to this day, is the 442. A battalion made up of individuals with Japanese ancestry.
It was not enough to uproot them, destroy and steal their businesses, they then had to be threatened with no status. Canadian and American governments should be ashamed of their behavior as should the governments of Nazi Germany and Britain in the Boer war (where the term concentration camp really took hold.) Or I would happily forward a copy of my historical fiction novel 'The Searching' . It is a Japanese American's search for identity during WW2. Also available on Amazon but I am happy to send to any readers with my compliments. Best regards Kevin Farran
