Sobering, truly sobering. I see the US as that drunk whom after a wild bender in which he drank lavishly and with bottomless greed from the cup of hegemony, now finds the others of the party have left him reminiscing in the gutter of dreams, recalling what once was and wondering why it will never be again.

Not knowing in which direction to step the US will have to choose to swallow its once endless hubris and enter the global playing field as a fading equal or, like a recalcitrant bellicose child, whip out its rancor and guns to flash into the sunset like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

We live betwixt times and the clock is ticking quickly on business and society.

Who will venture forth with placating wisdom that will soothe the vultures of greed and usurpers of power.

The Dalai Lama? Elon Musk? Are you free Isaiah? You have my vote.
