So much truth and sadness. Truly some societies have the attention span of gnats. Those who once heard applause, now hear derision.

I live in Tokyo, (high density population) we all wear masks except when dining in restaurants ( but certainly when ordering). It is a sign of mutual respect toward the 'group' where as other individuals in other countries prefer to think of themselves first and flick off any modicum of respect for the group. They should be put in their own hospitals and pay for their choice of ignorance.
