'Those who do not understand your silence, will probably not understand your words.'

One might assume the pandemic that is twitter has affected journalism in the manner that the phone camera has affected the art of photography.

The mastering of a subject has been lost in the sense that anyone, regardless of ability, through social media can become a guru to all. It is dangerous.

I applaud my son who is studying the Japanese tea ceremony from a family that have been teaching for 14 generations in the same house.

Mastery is an art, buffoonery is a plague.
