Some I agree with, some I do not. But that is what debate and consideration is meant to procure.
War is usually constructed to satiate economic interests. Look to any war and governments play the morality/ conscience card to satisfy the greed of the industries that pull the strings of political pockets.
NATO was courting the pretty daughter of Russia. She was loaded with wheat, tech, fertilizer and with handy ports for oil and industrial distribution. The Russian father Bear didn't want to lose his darling. Warnings were given. Greed rose. War resulted. The ordinary citizens lose.
I find it amusing that journalists continue to focus on the fact that Putin does not call it a 'war' it is a military operation. Yeah. Vietnam was not declared a war. Korea was a 'police action', Iraq was an 'invasion' (Afghanistan just a mistake really.) He is doing exactly as the US does when it goes into an area under the guise of being a savior to reap economic rewards.
