I must agree with BMoe this is a tale of curiosity twisted to flush a 'victim paranoia' and ride the current trend on Medium for any and all interpretations racial.
1 . Hair changes. When I had hair the pulling of blond hair was a fascination, yes pulling. Brushing the hair on my arms in fascination, my beard too, is a question in difference - not an abuse. I am sorry if you take it that way, but that is your experience
2. Karaoke. Just because I have blue eyes and am white does not mean I can sing Sinatra! Because I speak British English does not mean I can sing Hey Jude or Yesterday. The people are trying to be inclusive, I let it roll and my singing ear is atrocious so I spare them the pain.
3 Powaa. Yep they see me and immediately think I should lift it. Who cares? Obviously they can't, they just need help. If I can - I will, if I can't - it proves we are exactly the same. No biggy
4. Dance floor, yup happens to even old farts like me. But you might also include 'hugging' , which I perceive as a particularily American attribute that I find disgusting, but because I might be American (I'm not) I have to stick it out. They are trying to be welcoming in the best (though twisted) way they know - (admirable but misplaced) I don't throw a hissy fit, I keep my distance. They are learning.
5. Staring by adults - not done, but pointing and whispering by children, name calling definitely. That is out of curiosity and an inability to interact. It is not steeped in hatred.
6 Surprise I know how to use chopsticks, make mochi, cook traditional dishes, use a public bath. It is cultutral and usually ends with a warm appreciation. If I don't bite their head off with a hissy fit I have won a friend and respectful understanding
7. Where I am from. Always. It is a fascination. I get it from Whites, Blacks, Orientals probably even my dog if it could speak, and most people listen through it. Then there is a small percentage who make the sad joke I am the wrong color for my history. It is there ignorance not mine! I let it roll.
8 They see the wealth I display from my paltry earnings on the Medium platform and never ask that question. They are wise enough to measure a person by the substance of their character not the thickness of their wallet.
Living in a country where the local ethnic population tops out at 98.3% and the largest single minority is 0.5% my ethnic wash is even more minute, but being unique and different is a pleasure for me, not a crutch.
I deplore the aggression you receive and implore your good writing skills to branch beyond the spectrum you limit your obvious talents to.
My opinion from deep in the mountains of Japan ( at the moment) Stay safe and keep writing
