I find this argument in the US to be a sepsis on American society. I am not American so perhaps have no right to comment but the media wants to shove this issue in every free thinkers throat.

We are all individuals and have dominion over ourselves. No other outrageous or righteous self-appointed group should be legislated to abuse, control or suppress another's right to life's determinations.

Increasingly it appears American society is moving backwards.

Polarizing, insular, self-obsessed societies crumble and this issue is indicative of the quakes that are shaking the foundation of a nation that peaked several decades ago.
