Hi J, congrats on bucking the trend of life in Florida. I did not blame America for everything that is wrong in the world. The country is not that famous nor infamous. I merely pointed out the disparity of how, in current times, it is often acceptable for America to invade countries on their own perceived premise of impending threat, but not for other powers to do the same. There are always three fingers pointing toward self when one points at another.
As per the comment on Japan, a little research on activities during the negotiations at the League of Nations and the restrictions imposed in the early 30s on a starving nation thousands of miles from America, Holland and the UK. Repression starts from one accusation leading to another and escalates. To assume merely one side starts an altercation is not wise.
Information and understanding are always ambiguous in source and interpretation. However it is through dialogue, not the invasion of other countries, that is preferred when resolving differences. That is unfortunately not the prerogative of despots either elected or by forced mandate who unfortunately wield power.
