Hi Deepa. Thanks for the clarification and believe me no insult by generalization of demographic was ever intended. The term was used to balance the broad trending variations of such terms as White and Black.

Within those faceless terms, and ignorance of demographic groupings, there are a myriad of people, all individuals, who do not deserve to be generalized. if you perceived an offence as such, I apologize. It is as vague and inappropriate as 'Europeans' when that generalization takes in the peoples from Scandinavia and Scotland, to the Germanic countries, the Slavs over to the Mediterranean etc. Many people of wonderful variations, none who deserve to be misnamed or generalized. The politically correct nomenclature of deomgraphic groups is ever-evolving. As an older scribe I must continue to work on being a better individual in many aspects, perhaps in particular in keeping up with what is the current mode of political correctness in terminology as received by readers is one of mine. Thank you for reading and thinking. K
