Hi Ana,

Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment. You are assuming I am American or British. Way way off. I have never rallied to the support of America, the only nation to drop nuclear bombs on civilian populations, nor their love of Napalm on residential centers in Tokyo, nor their use of chemical weapons on populations. In fact I have described in detail the disgust I have for these atrocities in several of my books. I am also well aware of the concentration camps established by the British against the Boers in South Africa and the atrocities committed in Rhodesia. I have also written about Suleiman the Magnificent and the horrors of the Ottoman Empire crossing Europe. Please don't make such a rabid assumption.

Why say Western White populations? What has color got to do with this attack? None. That is a fabrication on your part.

I am not a fan of Putin, neither was I a fan of Trump, whom I also railed against. However in no instance in my article do I accuse or degrade the Russians or the Ukrainians. It is the buffoons who started this conflict I lay responsibility on. To say it was Putin only would be naive. No war is started by one megalomaniac alone. What prompted the bombing of Pearl Harbor? Look at the abuse and restrictions forced in the League of Nations, imposed by the US, UK, and Holland on shipping tonnage to try and limit Japan's growth so the markets would be available for their Western greed. Every fight has two instigators. Why was the Ukraine courted to enter NATO? I did not address that nor any of the issues of the outlying countries. Nor did I address the assumption of the Northern Islands of Japan by Russia on the last two days of the WW2. Atrocities committed by leaders often run rampant.

The intention of my article was to alert and shake some of the readers at Medium to become aware that complacency when dealing with an individual such as Putin is a death knell.

Unfortunately I cannot understand your second sentence. The structure is beyond me and I feel it was written in anger which was not the intention of my article. It was meant to awaken thinking not to provoke angst.

But thank you for your views. K
