Hello Mr. Gibson,
You seem very virtiolic in your comments and eager to rage against my right to comment on the article in contention. I will not apoligize for my manner of speech and do not abuse others for theirs. In fact if you reread my comment on the article I reiterate that the writer has 'high standards.' That comment was said with sincerity as I believe the writer's abilities with a pen are formidable.
As per my comment that unlearned assumptions are the seedlings of racism, I stick by that point. By assuming others behave, speak, think, or act in a particular way, without investigating, learning and experiencing other cultures and peoples leads to mob violence and ignorance inspired acts. I believe we learn by opening up and communicating not by making assumptions without knowledge.
Your accusation of being a troll I find repugnant, every voice deserves to be heard. Yours and mine. I did not throw a distasteful insult. In fact I reiterate I stated the writer sets a high standard with the written word. There was no gaslighting.
As per your inference that racism is the sole stomping ground of Caucasians I ask you to reconsider and look beyond your immediate borders. Look to the Balkans, India, the Orient - Asia Minor and Major, the continent of Africa southern, northern and northeastern, look to the the middle East. Racism rears its ugly face in a plethora of cultures and deserves to educated out of our children. To paraphrase a great man, 'No child was born to hate another culture or people.'
Thanks for your time. Kevin
