Hello Kelly,

Thank you for your thoughts.

I apologize if you assumed I was somehow perpetuating the supremacy issues that exist in the United States, I commented on how a large percentage of articles on Medium, an international forum, have an American viewpoint. At no point did I attempt to perpetuate it. At no point did minimize it. I sought clarity from someone I said had both validity and a good writing voice. Please reread the comment.

Your comment on question marks and the use of 'really'. Question marks are used once at the end of a sentence and the tone in a 'comment section ' is meant to be conversational. Like wise please review your use. In your opening five broken sentences you manage to use eight question marks.

I was noble in not referring to Rebecca as a racist, which, though I have never met her, from her article she most definitely is not. I was not afforded the same understanding from you. It took little over fifty words, seven truncated sentences, before you labeled me.

Most importantly, at no point do I refer to her race or ethnic background. At no point do I single out any form of ethnicity, which I don't know, and making that assumption is in itself, racist. I commented on her article for clarity in its viewpoint. I also do not point out her gender. You brought that to the table.

Those are things that you read into the article, inappropriately, and from your own agenda.

Please do not instill hostility into a comment which I sought clarity for.

YOUR comment to ' Keep Bklack women out of it.'

The author has every right to make her voice heard. It is a well written article which I gave laudits for three times. You may want to keep her voice out of the dialogue, I do not. Hers is a valuable contribution that I in my own right as a contributor on the platform questioned.

Thank you for taking the time to read Rebecca's article and my comment.
