He who holds the glass, sees the glass - whether it be half full of possibility or whether it be fueled with toxic vitriol.

I have read several of your fine essays, but alas grow weary of the venom. The hyperbole and absolutes attributed throughout many of your articles support your view point and urge the lemmings to believe there is nought but to leap.

As one who appreciates your writing, and is enlightened and entertained by it, I find it discourteous to youir readership that you can not consider a more balanced, less radicalized approach.

As Chicken Little raced around the barnyard screaming, 'the sky is falling,' has it not occurred to you that a challenge might be to look up to check on the condition of the sky? I do not disagree with your warnings, but please do not ignore the majority of voting Americans (and other nationalities beyoind the US borders) who find Trump to be a foul propagandist.

There was a vote, there was a result, and there is a plethora of disdain among all sides for Trump.

Can you, as a writer of merit, not focus on a single positive movement within America, or does that not suit your appetite?

If you cannot see the people beyond the minority of mob inspired QAnon morons, as it may not suit your Anti-American viewpoint, then your urging of the lemmings to jump becomes toothless. I believe good argument to be balanced not polemic. If you can not countenance the virtues of the majority who used their voice to speak against the fascist in the White House, then you become as blind as those you accuse of either being led by the nose or with their heads in the sand.

There are many worthy attributes within the American psyche that I believe will neuter Trumpism.

If we cannot gaze at the clarity of the glass, then perhaps doom, as you so vehemently forecast, awaits. I urge you, as a voice, to pause your alarm and find the finer attributes within America and accentuate them to balance your argument.

If that is not a course that serves your writing, then sadly I must see your fine writing skills in the murk of the glass as poisonous as the deranged few on Capitol Hill.

Thank you for serving this paltform.
