Great rant, we all need them. When my children were younger several moms ranted at my wife and I for wanting our boys to be competitive to achieve their dreams. Their kids went to Ibiza on wild drunks and got messed up with drugs, ours went to represent their country in their chosen sport and be paid professionals athletes. Guess I got it wrong. There is no guide for parenting, we all do our best, or should do.
