Against those who curtail, crush and obliterate our freedoms, a sneer at those who bark to hear the glory of their own voice.

The ripple of my offense makes you shun and sneer
Your attitude is poison, a hate-riddled spear
To maim and dismember is your protected stance
To eliminate opposition is your means to advance.

Alternatives are despised, only your way is true
Your agenda is supreme in your righteous view
Others must obey or be crushed by your venomous tongue
All must heed your doctrine your cries have begun.

Others have no right to opinion or freedom to choose
Your opinions are unassailable, others may not refuse
Directives must be adhered to, choice is not permitted
Objections are heresy, an unholy crime committed.

From where came your power to control and abuse
It is not divine, merely an arrogant ruse
I object to your myopic opinion and power to control
I am not some withered being or uncultured soul.

I choose my own fate, not harangued by an imperious voice
It is my life, my soul, my…
