A valid and important post. I must side with other comments that it does not profess the words of the street Russian scurrying for understanding in a hurricane of disinformation. The article leans heavily on those already in a full vitriolic state of detest toward Putin, so hardly the common Russian.
Yet it is valid
However the saber rattling and screams of injustice and pleas of abuse are toothless unless there is a proposition of a viable solution.
Where is it? I personally do not have it. I have not the knowledge, understanding or capacity to create such a necessary candidate or platform.
Who is the soul that will lead the wounded and maligned bear from the cave?
Surely those with information, who profess the right to complain must be duty bound to produce an alternative.
It is a crime, all wars are. It is unjust, wars are. It should be stopped, wars must.
But where is your alternative? Yes the milk is spilt so what will pundits and those with supposed knowledge do about it? Moan? Whinge?
Surely those of us who would wish to see it brought to an end would lean toward supporting an alternative, but where is it? Who is the candidate to lure the fear-riddled people away from the dictator? Must we see the only answer as 'sending more weapons as the means to a peaceful solution?'
Your presentation is valuable, without question, but I urge you and others, to rather than rant about the madness of the devil, provide and demand a constructive means for the people to walk away from the madness to a hope-filled future.
Let us find that solution. The milk is already rancid on the floor.
Thanks for writing.K
