A bleak picture you paint. Sadly any scenario may come to be, especially as Canada, at best, is a fractured country. Neither the Francophones nor Anglophones have ever been madly in love with each other. Any orange mongrel that sews seeds of dissent may achieve a small reward.

However, I think there may be another tactic at play here. The bullying of China, Canada, Mexico and now the EU is only a pre-emptive means to hide and distract from the desperate state of the American dollar. By flexing his muscles and threatening all and sundry he will then turn, back down on the rhetoric, and introduce a new crypto currency as the US means of erasing its excessive debt. American government and billionaire boys clubs will then crank up the bullying tactics to force other countries to accept the new currency. This will enrich the billionaires, repay Putin for having bailed Trump in his 80s fiascoes, and re-establish a new world order/currency with a new ameri-Trump coin.

I know little of cryptocurrency, but I believe the vomit being spewed by Trump is only to flex. He will come in for round two with Musk, Besos and other financial shadows to erase the mess that is the American dollar. The debt is too large to handle and there is no going back to the gold standard, so.... what next.
